terms of use
1. How does this compare to me having my own website?
The Demo Reel Network is essentially your own personal website. You can do all updates/modifications yourself for free, from any computer, anywhere at any time. Because of our high quality compression and streaming methods, your reel streams faster, plays back at its original frame rate and has unsurpassed image and audio quality.

2. Can I have my own domain name pointed to my web page on the Demo Reel Network?
Yes, you can place forwarders on your domain name and forward users to your page on the Demo Reel Network. (i.e. users who visit www.yourname.com will automatically be forwarded to www.demoreelnetwork.com/yourname.)

3. Will the Demo Reel Network be useful to me even though I don't live in Canada?
The Demo Reel Network is an international site that is based in Canada. Producers from all over the world will have free access to the site and will be able to screen your reel 24/7.

4. Why would I choose the Demo Reel Network over running my own website?
The Demo Reel Network is a professionally designed and programmed website that is quick to get setup and easy to use. Changes to any information in your account can be done by you free of charge without any knowledge of web programming. Our unique compression and streaming methods deliver unsurpassed image and audio quality to ensure your reel has never looked so good. The monthly charges are at par or below what you will be paying to host your website. As well, you will benefit from potential hits to your web page through our advertising in trade and industry publications.

5. How will this get me more work?
You can get work in two different ways from the Demo Reel Network. The first is by sending producers who are interested in hiring you to the Demo Reel Network to screen your reel. The second is by a producer searching you out through our search engine. Maybe you are found by location, discipline or specialty (i.e. helicopter, or steadicam operator)

6. My reel consists mostly of TV drama. Will this be a problem?
Definitely not, the Demo Reel Network caters to all film and television professionals from all genres. We have members that do a variety of different jobs in all genres from movies, to commercials, to corporate, to television.
